Fort Bend County Master Gardener Melody Lindley. Lindley, an organic-synthetic and analytical chemist, earned Master Gardener Advanced Training certifications in Herbs in 2024. Early medicinal chemistry and herbs have been her lifelong interest. Her career includes creating and testing short-acting beta blockers at the West Virginia University Pharmacy School Medicinal Research Department and working as a formulator at Mylan Pharmaceuticals.
