Toys for Joy 2023

The Quail Valley Garden Club’s Toys for Joy program had an exceptional year from the many members and community residents of Quail Valley who unselfishly contributed. It is a wonderful feeling to know that there are children in our City of Missouri City that had a much happier Christmas because of all the generosity! The beneficiary for our wonderful program is the Missouri City’s “Blue Santa” program, who collect and distribute the donated toys to local families in need. The Quail Valley Garden Club looks forward each year to help support the Missouri City Police Department and the Missouri City Fire Department in a successful toy collection campaign.

The name “Toys for Joy” was created after Bonnie and Cher(Quail Valley Garden Club members) met with Lieutenant Dutch Schultz, with Missouri City Fire & Rescue, to discuss the Christmas Toy Drive program for this year.  We learned that the MCFD actually works through a local charity organization for the processing and distribution of the donated toys.
